City on paper

Last Friday I stole an idea from some friends we FaceTimed with. Take a large piece of paper and tape it on the floor with painter's tape or something removable. Tape printer paper together if you don't have large paper. And then hand over the washable Crayola markers to your littles instructing them to draw a city.

By the end of the week your "city" will acquire blocks, characters, vehicles and other toys and become a three-dimensional space for imaginative play. If you want to be fancy you can draw out straight or curvy roads first (allowing plenty of width for the vehicles of your choice). But we may not have acquired a volcano that way. 😆
